Fairport Canal Days June 2nd-June 4th 2023
Fairport NY is celebrating 46th years as one of the premier juried art festivals in the Northeast alongside the scenic village on the historic Eric Canal in Fairport, NY: a “front-porch” friendly village. The festival is produced by the Fairport Perinton Merchants Association.
The festival will take place Friday June 2nd 4:30 to 9:00, Saturday, June 3rd 10am-6pm and Sunday, June 4th 10am-5pm. Something for everyone including artisans, live music, family activities with the Perinton Recreation KidZone in the Northeast public parking lot and plenty of food.
Some of the highlights of the festival include:
Friday Night Chicken BBQ
Friday evening, June 2nd, from 4:30 to 9:00 pm at the Fairport Junction Festival Site (Liftbridge Lane East).
This popular night of food featuring chicken barbeque, music starts Canal Days each year. A free, live concert performance by some of Rochester’s best known bands Eastman Youth Jazz Orchestra, and Northside Johnny.
Saturday Evening Live Music
On Saturday night the Canal Nights puts the focus on entertainment, bringing headliner bands to the stage under the big tent in Fairport Junction. Here, food vendors are open throughout the evening and wine and beer are offered for concert goers to enjoy on site. A minimal cover charge helps us bring you the best in regional and national performance artists.
Duck Race on Sunday
All proceeds benefit the Fairport Beautification Fund to provide for enhancements to our community and public art initiatives.
